Welcome to Rome! I'm looking forward to hearing your impressions of the city. I'm glad you made it to San Clemente for SS Cyril & Methodius. I've been there in previous years and its always a great celebration.

It's always funny for an American to visit Monte Cassino. You sort of murmur, "Uhh, sorry about that..."
BTW, don't let your time in Rome pass without going to some of the Lenten Station Masses in English at 7am each morning.

Zadok - thank you for pointing out that site to me! I've been using it to find the station churches every day (well, not *every* day...) and I'd be lost without it.
Meredith... did I see you at SS Cosmas & Damian yesterday morning? I thought I recognised you from your photo on your other blog, but wasn't really sure... and didn't want to annoy a total stranger.
You should try and make it to Palazzo Massimo today (Friday 16th March).
